Parents Night Out

Parent’s night out is a FUN night for kids! Parents go out to eat, enjoy some time away, we’ve got your kids for the night! Kid’s will enjoy dinner, swimming, gym games, and more!

  • Ages 4-14, 1st and 3rd Friday of every month from 5:30-10:00 pm.
  • Cost: $10/members & $20/community ($5 fee added for same day registration)
  • 2018-2019 Dates: December 7 & 21, January 4 &18, February 1 & 15, March 1 & 15, April 19, May 3 & 17

Music Lessons

Jackson Symphony Orchestra is offering classes at the Y:

Maestro’s Mini Musicians for children 2-5 years old at 11:00 am on Tuesdays with caregiver; Sharing the joy of music is our number one goal, but all of our activities are also carefully selected to support development and a musical foundation. February 26-April 23 (no class April 4)

Price:       $40 for the 8 week program

Toddlers & Tunes for children 0-23 months old at 10:00 am on Tuesdays with a caregiver; We’ll have fun singing, dancing and playing instruments while laying a foundation for musical fundamentals and, a love and appreciation for music. February 26-April 23 (no class April 4)

Party at the Y

We can host your next birthday party, bridal shower, or go on a school trip! We have a variety of rooms and activities to choose from such as; Pool Party, Gym Activities, Rockwall, and Zumba Dance! For more information and pricing click here or please contact Alexa at alexa@jacksonymca.org.

Tae Kwon Do

Tae means kick or to strike with the foot, Kwon means fist or to strike with the hand, Do means discipline or art.2014-06-23_AOF_7411_RGB (2)

  • Offered ages 8-13, Monday, Wednesday, Fridays 6-7:30p
  • Monthly Rate: $33/members & $43/community

Youth Aikido

Aikido is a non-competitive art based on the philosophy and martial arts of the Japanese    Samurai. Offered to ages 5-13.

Monthly Rate: $28/members & $38/community

  • Offered Thursdays and Saturdays, T:6:00-6:45pm and Sat:11:00-11:45am
  • Monthly Rate: $28/members & $38/community

Girl Quest Boy Quest

A running and enrichment program for kids grades 3-7 in and around Jackson, MI. Training program for kids with a goal of completing a 5k run at the end. We focus on health and fitness and positive self-image. Want to join a team or have questions, please contact Jennie@jacksonymca.org

FUTURE LEADERS

Shop Rat Foundation & the Jackson YMCA

Monday-Thursday, School dismissal-5:00pm

Future Leaders program is designed for 5th-8th grade students who would like to be change agents in their community. Participates will build leadership skills, explore Jackson & the Y, and promote change they would like to see. Every voice matters and we want to hear from our teens while helping them become positive leaders.

Mondays: Team-building, Tuesdays: Try it, Wednesdays: Apply it, Thursdays: Shop Rats

Enroll per session or for all three!

  • Session 1- Becoming a Future Leader at the Y: January 7-Feb 28
  • Session 2- Explore Downtown: March 4-April 25 (no program spring break week)
  • Session 3- Make it Happen April 29-June 6
  • Cost: $25 per week
