Parkinson’s Disease Programs

The Jackson YMCA offers two different programs for those suffering from Parkinson’s diseases, Pedaling for Parkinson’s and Rock Steady Boxing.  These programs are specially designed for those affected by the disease by providing exercises to help improve, strength, flexibility, endurance, cognitive skills, agility, mobility, posture and make everyday tasks a little simpler.  If you are interested in volunteering for one of our classes please contact Jennie Lapp, jennie@jacksonymca.org or 517-782-0537.  We use volunteers in every class, it’s a very rewarding program to be a part of.
