Partner with Youth - We’re Wild about Giving!

The Partner with Youth Campaign begins February 11—For one month, we will be asking our members and the community to support the youth in our community by donating to the campaign. Each year, thousands of youth use the YMCA for programs such as sports, afterschool bus in, and swimming lessons. Those programs are set at affordable rates so that everyone can participate. For those needing more help, we offer financial assistance. It is through your support, that we are able to provide this service to the community.

A few examples, in 2007…
263 children received financial assistance to attend day camp.
172 students received financial assistance to attend the bus-in program.
375 families received financial assistance for a YMCA Family Membership.
84 children received financial assistance for youth sports.
106 children participated in “SPLASH”, a week-long totally free introduction to swimming and water safety.
